Fennec Forms vs Fluent Forms
Fluent Forms has a generous free plugin with stored entries and conditional logic, so the two are closer than most. The differences are in multi-step forms, file uploads and webhooks, which Fluent Forms keeps for Pro, and in payments, where its free edition adds a 1.9% fee.

When Fluent Forms is the better fit
- Sites that need many integrations (Fluent Forms Pro lists 60+) and a wide field set.[3]
- Buyers who prefer a lifetime license; Fluent Forms sells lifetime plans alongside yearly ones.[1]
- Anyone who wants to install from WordPress.org today: it shows 800,000+ active installations.[2]
- Payments beyond Stripe: Pro adds PayPal, Square, Mollie and others.[3]

Where Fennec Forms differs
- Multi-step forms, file uploads and signed webhooks are free.
- No fee on Stripe payments in the free plugin, so you never need an upgrade just to stop paying a percentage.
- Entries and uploaded files stay on your site; nothing leaves unless you set up webhooks, payments or a CAPTCHA.
What Fennec Forms doesn't do (yet)
- Fluent Forms has many more integrations, field types and payment gateways, and it’s already on WordPress.org.
- Fluent Forms includes a free importer from other form plugins; Fennec Forms can’t import from Fluent Forms yet.
- Fennec Forms is new: its first stable release was in October 2026.
Moving from Fluent Forms
- Fennec Forms has no Fluent Forms importer yet, so forms are rebuilt by hand. Most take a few minutes in the drag-and-drop builder, and the starter templates help.
- Recreate conditional logic on each field’s Logic tab, and multi-step breaks with Page break fields.
- Set up notifications, confirmations and webhooks in the form’s Settings tab.
- Keep Fluent Forms active (and its entries where they are) until the new form is live, then swap the block or shortcode on your pages.
Limits to know about
- Existing Fluent Forms entries are not copied into Fennec Forms.
